Diamond composite cutting insert (PDC) are widely used in oil, geology, coal field mining and drilling, and multiple fields. How to keep the performance of PDC tools 

stable and continuous improvement is not only directly related to the interests of customers, but also the goal that LINKUT have been pursuing.

How can the cemented carbide of PDC and the diamond layer be firmly combined to reduce internal stress so that they do not peel, delaminate, or fracture each other 

in harsh environments, and maintain a good effect, the stability of its production process plays a decisive role effect.

The production assembly of PDC generally consists of 5 parts:

1) Diamond powder and cemented carbide

2) Shielding layer (also called protective layer). The inner wall is required to be smooth, clean, free from damage and accurate in size.

3) Pressure equalizing medium. ZrO2, salt rock, and other materials that can be used as thermally conductive equalizing pressure.

4) Heating element. Generally, a carbon tube with stable heat generation is used.

5) Pressure transmitting medium. The pressure transmitting medium is mainly an inorganic non-metallic material.
